TYPICAL SERVICE

We would love to have the opportunity to welcome you into our church family on any Sunday morning.  When you step through our doors, you will be warmly greeted, put at ease and made to feel right at home.  Whatever the reason for your visit, our sincere prayer is that you will feel loved and accepted by everyone in our fellowship, and supremely blessed by our Heavenly Father.

Before The Service: Everyone gathers to meet and greet one other.  We also have an area for prayer prior to the service which everyone is welcome to join in.  (Note: Please arrive at 10:10 am if you wish to join us in prayer)

Our Sunday Service:  Our service begin at 10:30 am, and last around 2 hours (this includes fellowship with refreshments after the service).  Our style is very relaxed, and the social atmosphere is warm and friendly.  Everyone is encouraged to dress informally and comfortably.

Praise/Worship:  We begin our service by singing vibrant praise songs to God in a contemporary, informal style.  Our Worship Team currently features four guitarist/singers and a percussionist.  We encourage and give people the freedom to express their personal worship through raising their hands in praise, waving flags, and dancing in the spirit.  We desire our worship and praise to be heart-felt, genuine, and a blessing to God.

The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the part of God that is living with us on earth today to guide and to comfort us.  We allow the Holy Spirit maximum room to lead us, as we become conscious of His presence.  Sometimes people will speak prophetic words (as directed by God) or share a prophetic vision, picture or dream the Lord has given them. Others will speak or sing in other languages (tongues) as the Holy Spirit moves them.

Prayer:  Before the service begins, as well as during the worship part of the service, people are encouraged to offer up prayers for various needs.  After the service we always allow time for personal and private prayer, that may be required.  At the end of each service our leadership is always available to pray and anoint people with oil for healing, impartation, service and ministry, as well as for God's continued blessing on their lives.

Preaching/Teaching:  At each service, the Pastor, or other Christian speakers, will talk about an aspect of God or Christian living based on Biblical wisdom, precepts and principles.  These talks are always highly informative, enlightening, and extremely thought provoking.

Communion:   We celebrate Holy Communion every 2nd week, where as Christian believers, we are all encouraged to share the bread and wine together in remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ's perfect sacrifice on the cross for our eternal salvation.

Why We Take An Offering: We invite everyone to give an offering during the worship service, as we use these offerings to continue the work of the Lord in various ways.  The money we receive goes toward the Hall rental, and the rest is sown into various charities that are supported and chosen by the congregation, as the Holy Spirit leads them. (Note: Our Pastors and Leaders minister on a voluntary and unpaid basis.)

Service End:  We serve tea/coffee and biscuits at the back of the hall.  This is a good time to fellowship and make new friends, as well as getting to know the Pastors and other church leaders.
